My different keys and it's functions

Posting key

The posting key is used for everyday posting, voting, commenting, follow other steemit account e.t.c it's also used to login Into one's account.

Active key

The active key is used for transfer of funds, converting steemit Dollars, updating profile details e.t.c

Owner key

The owner key is used for my personal activity and it's meant to be kept save.

Memo key

The memo key is used to encrypting and decrypting when transferring funds.

Lose of password/keys

There is no way to recover your account or owner key.it is very important that you save your master password or write it somewhere you will not lose it.The best place to save such password is on a flash drive or print it out.

What is the difference between master password and owner key?

The master password is used to generate all other keys including the posting key, active key memo key e.t.c

The owner key

The is used only when it's necessary and it's very powerful and can change any key of an account.it can also be used to recover a compromised account

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I have received all my keys and have saved them in my phone and I will also print it out and save it on my file so that it can be handy and also saved it on Google cloud.

Do you know each of these key function and restrictions?

Yes I do, for example the posting key is used for everyday and it's one of the keys I can't forget even if am sleeping.

How do you plan to keep your master password?

My master password is something I can't afford to lose because it is used to generate all keys so I have saved it in my phone and aslo written it down where I can find it .

Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes I do ,the first step is to login with my active and click on the arrow below:

The second step is to click on transfer which appear on the first image and click on the name of the person you want to transfer it to which is shown in the next image

The next step is to put the amount u want to send to the person and then put your active key and click ok before the money can be transferred and here is how it's done in this image

Question 5

Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes I do, the first step is to go back to your wallet and click on the arrow below and you will see where power up is written.this is how it will appear in the image below

After clicking on the power up, you will have to put the amount of money that you want to be powered and this is how it looks like in this image

The last step is to put your active key and the amount you pasted will be powered up and here is how it looks like in this image

In conclusion all the active keys will be kept save by me .
