Achievement 2 :Basic security on steem // by @preshdan//

Greetings to everyone!
The topic of discussion is "Steem Security"
As we all know, security is an issue that cannot be overemphasized nor underestimated because the life, success and progress of any platform or software depends on it, also it used as a protective measure.
We all well know that immediately after registration into this platform, one receives keys, mine is not exceptional. The "master key" was the first key I got which activated the following security keys: Posting key, Active key, Owner key and Memo key. Below are the characteristics of the above aforementioned keys and their functions or permissions;

POSTING KEYS
The Positive key is believed to be the mostly used key and the least in the order of hierarchy which is used to carry out activities in all social tools and allows for the following permissions:

• How to post a comment and create a blog
• Upvote and downvote
• Resteem a post
• Follow people and
• Mute accounts
  In other to be on safer side by minimizing the risk and serious hack case, it is advisable to always login with this key.

ACTIVE KEY
The Active key can be can be said to be a mid-level key whose main function is to handle financial transactions including transferring of steem to another steemite, buying and or selling in the platform. Extreme care is expected handling this key as it should be used on only trusted applications, devices or handles. It imperative to state that compromise on this key may lead to loss of tokens in the wallet.

OWNER KEY
The Owner key appears to be key that requires a high level of extreme carefulness as it has the ability to change other keys and the owner key too. The Owner key can also restore one's account at any time. Due to the delicateness of this key, it will a wise thing to do by keeping it interferences or third-party.

MEMO KEY
The Memo key is designed to encrypt and decrypt messages that are sent over the blockchain.

Question 1. Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have, with the help of @xkool24 who emphasized the importance of the various keys required for the community severally. So I immediately my account was created, I was able to back them up and stored them in a hardware.

Question 2. Do you Know the functions of each key as well as it's restrictions?

Yes, just as narrated above, they seem much clearer after this task

Question 3. How do I plan to keep my master password?

Just decided to keep it safe in the following:

1. Hard copy form,
2. In hard drive.

Question 4. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes, this can easily be done with the use of Active key. Thanks to @xkool24 for wonderful tutorials. See image below for more information...

Question 5. Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes, kudos to @xkool24 for his hearty tutorials on this as well. Steem is in a liquid form and can be powered up to continue building steem power.
