Introduction
Hi guys,
On these new day, it's a pleasure to me to write on basic security on steem, which happens to be my achievement2 task in these amazing platform. For as many who have always been there for me, I say a very big thank you for your continuous support.
As a new member in these platform, I was adviced by @simonnwigwe that my security in steem should be my utmost priority. In so doing, I was able to study and understand they various keys in steemit as a platform and how I can be able to keep it save. Below I will be discussing in summary all they keys and their functions and restrictions.
These are they keys present in steemit as a platform:-
- Tron account keys
- Posting key
- Active key
- Owner key
- Memo key
- Public keys
Tron Private Key
The private key has the highest authority on your TRON account. It is used for signing transactions of TRON, such as transferring tokens, freezing and voting.
TRON Private Key Permissions
- Transfer tokens

- Vote for TRON SRs
- Explore TRON ecology
POSTING KEY
This key should be used for social networking actions, like posting, commenting and voting on other people's post.

- Publish a post or comment
- Edit a post or comment
- Upvote or downvote
- Resteem content
- Follow people
- Mute accounts
ACTIVE KEY
This key has additional permissions for more sensitive monetary-related actions, like transferring and exchanging tokens.
When performing a wallet related action, you may be prompted to authenticate with your Active key.
Active Key permissions
- Transfer tokens
- Power STEEM up or down
- SBD conversion

OWNER KEY
The owner key is required to change the other keys. This key has additional permissions to recover your account or change your other keys. It's the most important key and should be securely stored offline.
Owner Key permissions

- Recover your account
- Decline voting rights
MEMO KEY
The Memo key because it is a bit of an outlier. The only thing the Memo Key can do is encrypt and decrypt private messages that are sent through the blockchain.

- Send an encrypted message
- View an encrypted message
PUBLIC KEYS
Each Steem Key has a public and private key to encrypt and decrypt data. Public keys are associated with usernames and can be used to look up associated transactions on the blockchain. Your public keys are not required for login on Steemit.com and you don't need to store these safely.
Question 1:Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Yes, I have.
Question 2:Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes, and I have explain few above.
Question 3:How do you plan to keep your master password?
I plan in keeping my master password save by storing it in they cloud, in these way I believe nothing will ever happen to it.
Question 4:Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes, and below is a screenshot on how to do it.
Question 5:Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes, and below is a screenshot on how to go about it.
