Achievement 5 Task 2 by @pratikjumle29 : Review Steemscan.com

Hellow Everyone on Steemit. I hope you all are doing great. My name is Pratik Jumle and I'm from India. I have done my all previous achievements and today I'm looking forward to complete my task 2 of achievement 5.

As mentioned by @cryptokannon I visited the steemscan.com and gained some good user experience from there. I loved the interface of the website and its functions.

Now, This are the my answers for the questions of task 2 of achievement 5:

Q.1.: Please explain the current Steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review?
Ans:

On the day I logged in on steemscan.com the current price of steem was 0.46$ and volume of steem was Height: 59,777,004. Supply: 395,727,705 STEEM / 9,998,989 SBD.

This prices and the volumes of steem keeps changing with/according to the time. The chart explains more prices and volume of steem with time. You can filter it to show the prices of steem as daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly.

Q.2.: Please explain What all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?
Ans:

Information Shown under latest transactions-

The latest transactions show the latest happenings on the steem blockchain, it shows votes, comments, transfer, following, reblog, claimed rewards , etc that is happening currently on the steem blockchain.

Information Shown under latest blocks section-

The latest block section displays all the block transactions equally. It includes the Transaction ID, Height, timestamp, Block transactions which display the total number of block transactions for ID.

Q.3.: Please explain What all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?
Ans:

Under the Witness section it shows the total witness, total mined, Last block height, Transaction count and current witness. It also display all the active witness with their ranks, approval, status, version last mined missed, price feed, reg fee, and vote.

Steps to vote a Witness-

Firstly go to the witness tab on steemscan.com then go to the active section and under it, it displays all the active witness.

Now click on the option "vote" as shown in the above image and it will take you to vote witness confirmation page after this click on continue and it will take you to another page, Now fill in your user name and private posting key then click on get started.

After this you will need to approve your witness vote and then can only your transaction is will be confirmed. Click on it and it will take you to confirmation page.

And Boom you're Done.

Q.4.: Please explain What is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?
Ans:

Decentralized applications (dApps) are digital applications or programs that exist and run on a blockchain or peer-to-peer (P2P) network of computers instead of a single computer. DApps (also called "dapps") are outside the purview and control of a single authority.

Although I'm newbie to this platform, I haven't used any DApps till now since I'm already on this platform, I will prefer using use SBD, and I also intend to use bitcoin and ethereum in the future.

Q.5.: Please explain How to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawal?
Ans:

Quick convert tool is used to convert steem to another cryptocurrency. It is also a very important tool.

To convert steem to another cryptocurrency first go to the go to Quick Convert Tab from menu, Put the amount of steem you want to convert, and then choose a currency you want to convert steem to it and then put in your withdrawal address and then click on the create order option. Confirm the order by logging in with your Active key, and wait for your order to be confirmed.

Converting steem in other cryptocurrencies has a fixed services fees charged on the later cryptocurrencies. it is known as transaction fee, and it varies in other cryptocurrencies. It is relatively higher in BTC and USDT as compared to TRX .

Q.6.: Please explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?
Ans:

This feature enables us to search for any type of transactions on steem, a user can also filter the search to view a specific type of account, different dates of transactions. This also a very important tool on steemscan.com.
