Achievement 5 task 4 || Review steemdb.io by @pius12

Hello steemians welcome to my blog, after being verified on my acheivement 5 task 3, I will progress to the achievement 5 task 4 which is the review of steemdb.io and below is my review based on my understanding of how it works

What is steemDb.io

SteemDb is a block explorer where steem blockchain stores it's information. to access it search steemdb.io on your phones browser. a page that looks like the below image will show up.

That's the home page of the steemdb.io website. in this home page, it displays the current chart of steem/BTC price on the markets. Other features are displayed in this home page, below are some features.

Features of steemdb.io

30-Day MVest Distribution

this feature is located within the home page. it shows the percentage of distrubution to curators, commenters, authors and witnesses. the values are in Mega Vests.

Recent Blockchain activity

This displays the most recent irreversible blocks. it is aligned under the 30-day MVests Distribution. it keeps live record of the followong

• votes
• comments
• transfers
• claiming of account
• comments options etc

Accounts

This sectoin is located at the top of the page

This sections contains the account of steem blockchain users. below is an image example

as you can see from the image above it is well sorted by various metrics(richlist by default) under the richlist are Options that contains, steem, SBD and power down

Witnesses

The witness section shows you the witness that can be found on the blockchain and they are ranked according to the number of vote.

Posts

This is another section that displays a number of post per day on the steem blockchain.

Steemdb labs

this is another feature on the steemdb's platform, it is used in testing projects that are not yet approved on steemdb's platform.

Efficacy Of Steemdb.io

Below are some Efficacy of Steemdb

• It provides a chart on the top witnesses on the chain and their histories.
• it provides live chart of steem/bitcoin price
• It allows users to search for various account in the search toolbar at the top right hand side.
• It provides the relevant details of account holding the most reputations, steem, posts and so on.
