Hello steemer, I am @perryperry trying to give my incite on plagiarism.
WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
plagiarism is the act of using others paper work or research work, without their permission.
Plagiarism can take any shape in the educational system.
Plagiarism is a way of stealing or taking what does not belong to you.
FORMS OF PLAGIARISM
- Self Plagiarism
- Mosaic Plagiarism
- Incremental plagiarism
- Global plagiarism.
SELF PLAGIARISM
This is the process of repeating your previous work on a particular topic.
It is a lesser form of plagiarism.
MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
This is the act of compiling different sources and later making it as one.
INCREMENTAL PLAGIARISM
This is the act of inserting a little portion if plagiarized work into an original work
GLOBAL PLAGIARISM
This is the act if stealing an entire work.
This is done without editing or sawping of words.
It is copied exactly the way it is.
DE MERITS OF PLAGIARISM.
plagiarism is not of benefits, as it us not acceptable in the society and other institutions.
__ it is an act of stealing
__ it is not good to practice
__ it is illegal
__ it renders a work useless
__ it devalue the quality of a work.
WAYS OF PREVENTION
- By going on research
- By citation
- By referencing the work
- By thorough checking.
Plagiarism is not good, as it is not allowed in the immediate environment and the society at large.
