I say a big thank you to @yoha2on, @njaywan and @cryptokannon for the guidance in this community.

Norms and laws are what govern the world. There are rules set at every institution to govern the behavior of its occupants. They have etiquettes. Before a person can fit in to any place then he or she has to follow the rules to be able to live peacefully.

Writing is a skill of art many have. There are rules governing how we write and how we express our thoughts. Others don’t know how a writer brings up his or her ideas but want to be acknowledged for it. That’s what we call plagiarism. The etiquette for writing has producing of original content as its number 1 etiquette. Plagiarism is an ill behavior in writing and doesn’t promote good work but laziness.

Etiquettes are the customary code of polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group. source

Plagiarize don’t only look out for words or articles. Images and videos also considered. When you use a work of someone, then let the world know where it’s coming from so as to acknowledge the original author. Images have copyright policies. Writers should make it a point to state the source of an image or anything being used in a work. Its shows credibility and it gives the writer a reputation of legit work.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. source

Plagiarize comes in many forms. But commonly amongst all, they deal with the originality if a work. One must make it a point to always acknowledge a writer who have already written about what you are doing and borrowed something from their work. Paraphrasing is a good skill but the idea you paraphrased isn’t yours. So you should acknowledge the brain that brought up that idea.

Good content devoid of plagiarism is the key to the heart of your readers. Be a good writer and copy from none and your work will speak for itself. Sometimes we plagiarize and don’t even realize. Let’s find plagiarism checkers to always make sure our works are original.

Great attempt.

But I'd like you to revisit the post task guidelines and utilize some of the citation techniques including blockquotes and text sourcing.

Please do that so I can verify your post.
