What is plagiarism?

plagiarism could be base define as the act of copying/pasted someone else's work, idea, thought or even content without acknowledging the original source.
Plagiarism is an illegal act, I called it stealing because you pick from somewhere without letting the owner know about it.

Citation:- Citation is the process is which you make your reader understand that the material or work came from another source.
Or it's about, letting your reader to understand that you borrow and idea from another source.

Example of citation:
When a force is acted on something, the must be equal and opposite reaction
According to Newton's third law.

The above sentence with quotation mark is the copy/pasted work and the source there shows where the idea came from.

Examples of plagiarism:

1. Direct plagiarism:- These type of plagiarism involve copying another person work word to word, line to line without changing anything or making any editing.

2. Mosaic plagiarism:- This is the process whereby the write copy another persons work unintentionally. Maybe the writer may have mentioned where the original source is but fail to acknowledge quotation mark.

3. Self-plagiarism:- This type of plagiaism is mostly practice in school whereby student copy parts of the already done project and paste.

4. Accidental-plagiarism:- This type of plagiarism is when the writer refer the wrong source believing is the right or original source.

Plagiarism could be avoided through good research, being committed, proper understanding and also asking questions where you seem not to understand.
