You can check how much your voting percentage is remaining on steemworld.org/@(your username)..
Yes you get reward against your casted vote. You will get reward that amounts half the vote you casted on any post.
You can get reward on your comments too if your comments are valuable and someone votes on your comments.
There are many communities where you can post. You can post your diary in bestofindia community. And similarly you can find many other communities according you your interest. And if the admins of the community or any other curator finds your post valuable, you will get reward.
