Once again, I want to welcome everyone to this achievement task post. It has been quite facinating and educating and I thank verifiers of these posts. I am embarking on achievement 5 task 2 which deals on Review of Steemscan.com.

Introduction

steemscan.com is a decentralized block chain tool which users on the steemit platform can utilize for the conversion steem to other cryptocurrencies like USDT, BTC, TRX etc. It is easy to use, transparent and has various facets.

Question 1: Please explain the current steem price and volumes on date of submission of this review.

The current price of steem as at the time of this post, according to CoinGecko is $0.466787 as shown below:

Question 2: Please explain what all information is shown under latest transactions and latest block section

---

The information shown under latest transactions is as follows:
Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver/Permlink/Id, Type, and Amount/%/Payload

The information shown under the latest block includes ID and Block Transactions

Question 3: Please explain what all information is shown under witness section and steps to vote a witness

---

The information shown under witness section can be seen by clicking on Menu and then select Witness

The information that are seen under witness are as follows:
Rank, Witness, Status, Version, Missed, Price feed, and Reg fee.

To vote a witness:

• 1: Log into steemscan.com
• 2: Click on menu and select witnesses from the options.
• 3: A list of witnesses is displayed
• 4: Select any of them and then vote

Question 4: Please explain what is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest.

DApps is short for Decentralized Application which enables users to access different decentralized applications. It is a variety of steem decentralized applications site like games, social, gambling, finance, utility, health, etc.

To access DApps, click on Menu and then select DApps

Holy Bread, Actifit and Fundition are the three DApps I would like to use in the future.

Question 5: Please explain how to use quick convert and what is the fee charged for different steem amount for withdrawal?

To make use of the quick convert tool, click on Menu and select Quick Convert

Enter the amount of steem you want to convert, select a currency you want to convert steem to, enter a withdrawal address for the USDT and then click create order. For this post, I will be showing the different fees charged for 10, 20, and 30 steem if converted to Tron (TRX)

From the above screenshot, the fee charged for converting 10 steem to TRX is 0.49100002 TRX

The fee charged for converting 20 Steem to TRX is seen to be 0.97200004 TRX as shown below

The fee charged for converting 30 Steem to TRX is 1.45300006 TRX as shown below

The search feature is one of the elements set up under the Menu on the homepage of the steemscan.com that enables users to explore steemscan-related information.

To utilize the search feature, click on Menu and select search, fill the required information and then click search
