INTRODUCTION
the radix of the word plagiarism was sourced from the Latin word "plagiarus" which simply means " kidnapper" and it was first used around 80, AD by the roman poet marshal.
plagiarism was introduced into English in 1601 by Dramatist Ben Jonson, during the Jacobian Era to describe someone guilty of theft.

Types of plagiarism explained
PATCH WORK PLAGIARISM
this is simply when an authors published content is edited, through the act of changing or switching words that best relate to the author's content, these type of plagiarism is complex to detect because the plagiarist combines his personal ideas with an established idea to established an idea.
a lot of folks confused and argue these type of plagiarism as not plagiarism but the simple truth is " its plagiarism because another author's content is involved without the proper citation or reference recognition of the author.
PARAPHRASED PLAGIARISM
this is when an authors content is copied by another author without proper reference and published exactly without a dot changed.
these type of plagiarism is a popular one because a lot of fake authors who lack humility engaged these type of plagiarism.
COMPLETE PLAGIARISM
complete plagiarism is really a funny type of plagiarism to me because, its simply a means where a plagiarist boldly attempts to submit another author's research file as his /her own, without Proper citation.
(hahaha)
the heart of a man i s desperately wicked, if not, how can someone suffer the scourging of the sun in other to achieve a research work, then at the end of a good job a lazy person comes and then steals the author's and enjoy the praise
SELF PLAGIARISM
self plagiarism is simply an act of coping your own work. these is when you edit a previous published content and then few months later you re- edit and published again without writing a new content.
( I know you will be like, hey @okson, what are you saying that's a lie bro, because that's my work and I have a right to do what I feel like with it )
But nay, that's not right because when you re- edit a previous post, you are directly fooling and deceiving your audience because you're not really honest with your work.
How will you feel if I offer to you a left over food for a dollar ( hahaha) , that's not different from self plagiarism.
ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
accidental plagiarism is when an author, forgets to engage proper citation of published content, due to a rush work or stress but plagiarism is plagiarism whether an authors sleep works or not.
SOURCED - BASED PLAGIARISM
Sourced based plagiarism is when sources are falsify or when a source or reference is recognized in place of another. And also when an author quotes a non existent..
SOURCED - BASED PLAGIARISM
This is when a plagiarist copies another author's content down to the source, without changing anything from it.
EFFECTS of PLAGIARISM
plagiarism is considered a violation of academic integrity and a breach of journalistic ethics. everyone's original idea is ( his or her ) own, an it is a bad idea to copy them without recognising or referencing them for their creative ideas.
