Plagiarism has been a great impact in the lives of writers that's why I really appreciate this courses which helps the new comers know some rules of this platform.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is the WRITTING or representation of someone's word, idea, and data without the person knowing about it and not even citeing the source.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

There are often many types of plagiarism been possessed by us know only or unknowingly but we will be looking in four of them which are Direct,Mosaic,Self,And accidental plagiarism.

DIRECT PLAGIARISM

In our world today plagiarism has been part of people's life, today we encounter different types of plagiarism which one of them are direct plagiarism.
In this type of plagiarism the person plagiarizing copy's everything from the original WRITTING without even citeing a source and also does not even try to change anything.

MOSAIC PLAGIARISM

This is another major part of plagiarism which is called mosaic plagiarism and in this case the person copying must have cited the source but he/she has not acknowledge the quoted part or put them under the quotation marks correctly,this makes him/her fall in the rule of plagiarism.

SELF PLAGIARISM

This is one of the types of plagiarism. Where someone copy and pasted his/her older posts or work without seeking permission by his or her teacher or elderly ones.

ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM

This is a common form of plagiarism which can occur accidentally by a writer. This can occur when the writer misplaces any of the quotation marks or when citeing the source or even citeing a wrong source that is when accidental plagiarism may occur.

CAUSES OF PLAGIARISM

There are many causes of plagiarism which I will mention few of them which are:

• fear of failure
• poor time management skills
• not giving the student the consequences of been involved in it

WHY WE SHOULD AVOID PLAGIARISM

• As said that plagiarism is known as stealing or frauding form someone. A good reason why we should avoid plagiarism is that plagiarism can lead to failure or even give you low marks if you are still schooling.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM

There are several ways by which this plagiarism stuff may be avoiding and which includes

• CITE YOUR SOURCE
  This is a main way to avoid plagiarism and which is included in the crypto ACHIVEMENT courses which is in ACHIVEMENT 4.
  This is when you would like to include photos that are not yours,it is respectful for you to cite the source in other to make the reader know that you copied an item from a source or some where else. (this can be done by copying the link address of the website).let me show you with an example:my beautiful flowers

• INCLUDE QUATATIONS
  In order to avoid plagiarism you need to include quotations although you inserted a source you also need to include quotations as so as to make the reader know that you copied from some where.

• PARAPHRASE
  Paraphrasing is also another way to avoid plagiarism. Which means rewriting a source's idea or data into your own words,without changing it's meaning.

• PRESENT YOUR OWN IDEA
  Instead of presenting the source's idea, you rather read it and present your own idea which is different.
  You should add unique words to your writing in the to make it different from others writting.
