Greetings to everyone steemians reading this post. My sixth achievement task, will discuss my thoughts on the platform's curators, witnesses, and communities. Enjoy the reading as I explore the task.

Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

As far as Steemit is concern Voting is known as Curation. As much as every user of Steemit has the option to vote others, the weight of their vote is based on their Steem Power (SP). Among other things, voting is one of the most significant social activities on Steemit. Before a user vote others, he or she must understand that vote is given to a post depending on how properly written they are and that it must be original and of high quality. As s Steemit user you are giving other users posts value, which is a reward to the writers' contribution.

Before voting a post, you need to know the types of vote. Basically there are two different types of voting options on Steemit. The Upvote and the Downvote. Other users will upvote your posts if your post meet the requirements, but will be downvoted if you or your post have questionable characteristics. The upvote button is green circle with an upward arrow. The downvote button is represented by a red circle with a downward arrow as shown below:

There is what is called 'Voting Mana'. It is like a voting strength or power. Your power in Voting Mana will go down each time you upvote a post, after some time it will recover as it recharges itself by roughly 20% every day.

What happens if you vote for a post within 5 minutes of posting?

The timing is very important to voting because it play a fundamental role. There is a limit of 5 minutes between the time a post is drop and the time of vote. Hence, we need to wait 5 minutes before voting so as to obtain the reward ratio. That is to say that the ratio changes in the course of time. Below is the time frame of value of the vote

Who will you vote for steem Witness? And why?

This is a personal and delicate issue. I will voting for a witnesses who show a commitment to the Steemit platform . Therefore, I will be voting for @steemchiller, founder of the steemworld.org tool, @justyy, creator of steemyy.com, and @futureshock, creator of steemscan.com based on their contributions to the development of tools or applications helpful for the growth of users on the steemit platform.

Which community will you join in Steemit and why?

I have actually joined a number of communities on the platform before now. I choosing those I feel are relevant to me based on my interests and where I will feel comfortable publishing based on the community's operating rules and guidelines. Some of the communities I have joined are shown below:
