Achievement 2 @notacryp : Basic Security on Steem
In this post I @notacryp will do the task for achievement2 which is a discussion about "Basic Security on Steem". Why the basic security settings at Steemit are important to you, because by knowing this, you can keep this steemit account well and avoid criminal crimes that we don't want.
Therefore, in this paper, I will answer some questions about basic security at Steemit that have previously been prepared by my seniors at Steemit.
1. Have you got all your keys in steemit?
I've got all the security key codes for my account.
2. Do you know each of these main functions and limitations?
Active key
Active keys are intended for more sensitive tasks such as transferring funds, powering up/down, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and images, and placing orders in the market.
Owner key
The owner key is only intended to be used when needed. This is the most powerful password because it can change any password, including the owner key. We recommend that these passwords be saved offline, and are only used to recover compromised accounts.
Memo key
This password is used to encrypt and decrypt memos when transferring funds. To encrypt the memo, use the previous / # sign.
3. How do you plan to save your master key password?
To keep our steemit security key code safe, you can store it on your laptop or your smartphone. But if you are afraid that one day your smartphone or laptop will be damaged, you can also record it in your notebook.
4. Do you know how to transfer your STEEM to another steemit user account?
How to send Steem to another steemit account, we can see the steps in the picture below:
5. Do you know how to Power up/down your STEEM?
