Types Of Keys And Their Functions

1 Owner Key This key is used used for terminating accounts and it isna very important key and needs to be well kept.

2 Master Key. With the master key, its usually given to us when we just register into steemit and it comes in the form of pdf and request to ne stored in a secured file not to be forgotten. You can save it in your hard drive and also, some people save it in their documents and also email box. The master key is used in recovering lost accounts.

3 Posting Key . This key is used in logging into your steemit account and also wallet. You can upvote, comment, downvote, follow and also mute accounts using this key.

4 Active Key . Active key is usually used for monetary transactions that is, you can send tokens using this key and also you use this key to purchase steem thats by exchanging Sbd to steem.

5 Memo Key**. Memo keys is used for both encrypting and decrypting memos. When your transfering funds to another account, you use #tag to keep it secret. This is a very important and valuable key so keep it secretly and dont share it with anyone. If anyone has this key, it is possible for the person to trespass into your account.
