Fellow steem-ians, I deem it a great pleasure to present to you my fourth achievement which is about markdown application.
One may ask what markdown is?
In a business perspective markdown is the reduction in price. Thus, in a business perspective or context. But, we are taking it in the computerized perspective or context. According to source, Markdown is a lightweight markup language for creating formatted text using a plain-text editor. It was created by “John Gruber and Aaron Swartz” in 2004.
It’s all about how to align your text, code, justify, creating headlines and others.

My work on this achievement is about Social Responsibility. It will be very educative, interesting and entertaining.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Social responsibility means that businesses, in addition to maximizing shareholder value, should act in a manner that benefits society.
Socially responsible companies should adopt policies that promote the well-being of society and the environment while lessening negative impacts on them.source
Social responsibility is very broad, hence, is not limited to only cooperations or companies. Individuals living in a society are also socially responsible to that society or environment, and must have an impact in it.

As a cooperation, what are your impact to the society, region or country your residing or operating in. Is it positive or negative, are the people of that society happy to your operations or actions, are you causing positive spillovers or negative spillovers. Some companies provide or support their Societies with drinkable water(H₂O) especially in the villages, give scholarships, employ the citizens and others.

Being socially responsible is not just causing positive spillovers to the community you are working in, but the kind of products you produce. Some companies can cause positive spillovers but manufacture poor goods to the society, which is very bad.
A four-part definition of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR),

“Corporate social Responsibility encompasses the economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic expectations that society has of organizations at a given point in time.” _ A. Carroll

The economic function is that companies must be profitable.
The legal function is that companies must obey the law of the country, state or society in which it operates.
The philanthropic function is that they must be good corporate citizens.
And the ethical function is that, they must be ethical. Thus, do what’s right and avoid the wrong.

As an individuals in the community, what’s your responsibility in the community, thus, what does the society benefit from you, or you are just a liability to the society.
As steemians we can say our responsibility is to invite our colleagues or those who doesn’t know of @steemit to join and also benefit from it.

We should be willing to be held accountable to our actions as citizens of our societies.we should have impact on the younger generation and the old.
