Posting key

To publish a post or a comment, use the posting key. You can make changes to a post or a comment. Resteem content, upvote or downvote People can be followed and accounts can be muted.

Active key

Transferring tokens, increasing or decreasing the value of STEEM, converting SBD, voting for witnesses, placing an order on an exchange, and making certain profile changes all require an Active Key. Create a new user and publish a Witness pricing feed.

Owner key

The Owner Key can be used to reset the Owner, Active, and Posting keys, as well as to recover your account and decline voting rights.

Memo key

The Memo key is used to send and view encrypted messages.

Master key

The master key is the most crucial and the initial key given to the user in order to derive all of the account's keys. That key is the master of that account or the one who knows it, as the word "key" implies.

How to transfer the Steem to another's account

Log in to your account with your active key password and username. Select transfer by clicking the tiny arrow beside the Steem balance. Add the amount you'd like to transfer to, the amount you'd like to transfer to, and confirm it, and your tokens will be transferred.

How to power up

The process of converting liquid Steem to steem power is known as power up.
