ACHIEVEMENT 2: Basic Security On Steem @mosespeace
hello fellow steemians, how are you doing,trust you are doing great,am happy to be here again to write my achievement2
I will like to explain what security is since this is Basic Security.
Security is seen as safety, as well as the measures taken to be safe or protected from other steemit ,In order to provide adequate security of any fraudulent act cause by other steemit .
1: Have you Retrieve all your keys on STEEMIT?
(1). YES
- THOSE KEYS ARE
- POSTING KEYS,
- ACTIVE KEY
- OWNER KEY,
- MEMO KEY
- MASTER PASSWORD
2: Do you know each of these key Functions and restrictions?
(2). YES
POSTING KEY: the posting key allows accounts to post comment,edit,vote,resteem and follow or mute other accounts.
ACTIVE KEYS: the active key is meant for more sensitive tasks such as transferring funds power up/down transaction,converting steem dollars,voting for witnesses,updating profile details and avatar,and placing a market order.
OWNER KEYS: owner key can only be used when necessary.it is the most powerful key why because it can change key of an account, including the owner key And also meant to be stored offline and only used to recover a compromise account.
MEMO KEYS: memo key,this is very important key used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds .
3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
(3): There is no way to recover your account if you lose your password or owner key, Because your account has real value ,it is very important that you save your master password somewhere safe where you will not lost it, you can also draft them down and store it in a safe place example jotter, computer etc .
4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
(4): yes, for you to transfer your steem token to another user,clik on wallet ,then click on drop down arrow beside steem,then click on transfer ,a page open that requires the beneficiary account you wish to transfer the steem to ,then click on Next ,click on Ok ,then add your Active key and sign in.

Input your active key to confirm the transaction
5: Do you know how to power up your steem ?
(5): For power up Steem,you need to click on power up,then put the amount you want to power up and click power up then put your active key and sign in .

Conclusion
Through my Achievement 2 I have learn how to retrieve all my keys on steemit and also know their functions . through this achievement I have also learn how to transfer steem token to another steem user account,also know how to power up my steem ,most especially how to keep my master password safe .
