Good day community. Im glad to have completed my achievement 1&2. I am here to perform my next task which is CONTENT ETIQUETTE. I have read and understood what plagiarism means and I promise to produce only contents that are free from plagiarism.

What is Content Etiquette

They are the rules, regulations and guidelines a content writer should follow to get a good job done.

Plagiarism
Plagiarism means taking someone else's work or ideas as your own with or without their consent. In other words, plagiarism is the act of taking another person's writing, conversation, song or even ideas and passing it off as your own.

Types of Plagiarism
Global plagiarism: means taking an entire work by someone else and passing it off as your own.

Verbatim plagiarism: also known as direct plagiarism, means copying and pasting text into your own work without attribution.
If the structure and the majority of the words are the same as in the original, then it is verbatim plagiarism, even if you delete or change a couple of words here and there.

Paraphrasing plagiarism: Rephrasing ideas
Paraphrasing means rephrasing a piece of text in your own words. Paraphrasing without citation is the most common type of plagiarism.
Paraphrasing itself is not plagiarism so long as you properly cite the ideas.

Patchwork plagiarism, also called mosaic plagiarism, means copying phrases, passages and ideas from different sources and putting them together to create a new text.

Self-plagiarism: means reusing work that you’ve previously submitted or published. It’s considered dishonest to present a paper or a piece of data as brand new when you’ve already gotten credit for the work.

Follow these four steps to ensure your work is free from plagiarism:

-Keep track of the sources you consult in your research.
-Paraphrase or quote from your sources (and add your own ideas).
-Credit the original author in an in-text citation
and reference list.
-Use a plagiarism checker before you submit.

Conclusion
Plagiarism is a form of dishonesty thus should be avoided. When you incorporate anyone else work into your own work, you simply need to give them credit and provide an audience with information on how to find the original source.

Thank you all for your time in reading my post.
