Aloe vera may offer several skin care benefits for men, such as reduced razor burn, improved acne, reduced rashes, and more. It may also be used as a personal lubricant
The bioactive compounds from Aloe vera are claimed to be very effective in treatment of various ailments, such as burns, allergic reactions, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever, acid indigestion, ulcers, diabetes, skin diseases, dysentery, diarrhea, piles and inflammatory conditions of the digestive system and other.
Aloe vera juice is a rich source of antioxidants, which help fight free radicals. This lowers oxidative stress on your body and reduces the risk of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or even cancer. Aloe vera juice is also an excellent source of: Vitamin C.6
How do you apply it to the hair?
- cut a leaf from a live aloe vera plant.
- using a spoon, collect the gel (some like to blend it with coconut or olive oil)
- rub the gel or mixture directly into the scalp and let it sit for an hour.
- use a mild shampoo to wash the hair and scalp.
repeat this process 2-3 times a week, as needed.

Did you know that Aloe Vera plants are dangerous for dogs? I didn't, until our daughter came by for a visit and mentioned that her roommates dog got sick from eating some of the leaves off the Aloe Vera plant in their apartment. Just some more information to share. 😊
