Today I will be completing my achievement 4 task post which is on markdowns, by applying it in my post about environmental pollution.

The issue of environmental pollution is on the rise as most anthropogenic activities result in the pollution of the environment.
According to the environmental management 2017 Environmental pollution is defined as “the contamination of the physical and biological components of the earth/atmosphere system to such an extent that normal environmental processes are adversely affected.

There are different types of environmental pollution categorized as such by the type of pollutant they contain. A few are as follows;

Type of pollution	Pollutant
Air Pollution	Gases, volatile organic etc
Water Pollution	Liquid , solid etc
Land Pollution	Solid , liquid etc

Land Pollution is defined as the release of pollutants either solid or liquid on the land or soil which can contaminate it, this can cause harm to humans or other animals through consumption of grown vegetables and fruits on the contaminated area.

The issue of environmental pollution can be prevented following these few options;

1. Moving away from fossil fuels, replacing with sustainable renewables.
2. Shifting to ecofriendly transportations
3. Wastewater should be recycled
4. There should be storage facility for solid waste
