My achievement 2 task on basic security on steem @michael-akpan

My greeting to you all, my wonderful steemians, I wish you all a wonderful day. I am here once again to complete my achievement 2 task on basic security on steem.

Question 1:
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer:
Yes, I have retrieve all my keys on steemit, and also save it in online and offline mode, so that I can easily retrieve them from my google drive.

Question 2:
Do you understand each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer:
Yes, I know all their functions and restrictions, for example;

1. Master key:
   

   Master key is a very important primary key. It
   is of higher important and power. Master key
   can be use to generate all other keys. It is
   advisable for all steemians to save their
   master key well in appropriate and a secure
   place and not to disclose it to any third party.

2. Posting key:
   

   Posting key is use for a daily activities in
   steemit such as posting, sign to your account,
   voting, commenting, editing and muting of
   your account.

3. Memo key:
   

   Is a key use to encrypt and decrypt
   memos anytime you are transferring funds.

4. Active key:
   

   Active key is mainly use in steemit wallet, it
   can be use for transaction from the wallet, for
   example, placing an order of exchange,
   transferring tokens or powering steem up and
   down, voting for witnesses and converting
   SBD etc.

5. Owner key:
   

   Owner key is important key that can be use to
   recover our steemit account and can also be
   usee to change all the keys. So It is good for
   all to kept their owner key save and never to
   disclose it with anyone.

6. Public key:
   

   The above mentioned private keys have all
   the public key. It is associated with
   username. And the also encrypts and view
   messages but they are not needed to login
   on steemit.com.

Question 3:
What are your plan on keeping your master password?

Answer:
I save all my keys in soft copy to my mail, google drive, my flash drive and my notepad and secure them with my personal password and I also have the hard copy save to my personal file and keep it in a save and secure place. incase of loosing the soft copy.

Question 4:
Did you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:
Yes, to transfer your your steem token to another steem user account you need to login to your steemit wallet.com.
Click down arrow on the steem icon.

Then click on transfer icon.

Enter the receiver username into the column without the symbol @. Then click on next icon.

Finally, enter your active key and click on sign in icon.

Question 5:
Can you power up your steem?

Answer:
Yes, first of all, click on the wallet icon.

Then click down arrow icon on steem icon,

Click on power up.

.

Then enter the amount you want do power up and click on power up icon.

Click on OK icon, to process your powering up.

At the end, enter your Active key and click on sign in icon.

Process of powering up is completed.
