Hello everyone

Assalamualaikum.....

Greetings to fellow Steemians and the great leaders of this platform who have given us the opportunity to learn and win. I am still grateful to those who verified and selected my achievement tasks 1 and 2.
My achievements 1 and 2 assignments have helped me a lot on this platform and now I am ready to continue my achievement 3 work.

The third (3) task deals with content Etiquette and we will focus on plagiarism.
How do you feel when you are the creator or owner of an idea or work and someone else uses it without giving you credit? Isn't it true that you're in a bad mood?
Let's take a closer look at plagiarism.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism, to the best of my knowledge, is the act of using another person's work, ideas or words as if they were your own. Plagiarists are people who do plagiarism. Plagiarism can be intentional or unintentional.

As library and information science students at the school, our instructors take the time to explain plagiarism and its consequences. They take the time to thoroughly review each assignment and academic paper to ensure it is free of plagiarism. If you consider another author's work as your own without giving credit to the original author, you may be branded a "literary thief."

We must be careful when quoting and paraphrasing the work of others. It is illegal to make other people's ideas sound like your own. Don't forget that plagiarism carries a penalty.

Types of Plagiarism

Auto or Self Plagiarism
Complete Plagiarism
Accidental Plagiarism
Source-Based Plagiarism

Auto or Self Plagiarism

This is where you plagiarize your own work or paraphrase parts of your work, using your own words that have been used in a different work without making any reference to the previous work. This is tantamount to plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism

This is someone's entire work used by someone else without changing any words and claiming it as their own.

Accidental plagiarism

Accidental copying due to the fact that someone forgot to acknowledge or tried to paraphrase their work without proper citation is Accidental Plagiarism.

Source-Based Plagiarism

Incorrect citation of someone's work source or a source that does not exist at all.

STEEMIT PLAGIARISM

When someone does the following on the Steemit platform, they are considered plagiarized;

• Copy and present (post) other people's literary content as your own. Plagiarism is defined as when a Steemit member does this instead of creating the original content himself.

• Duplication of works found on the Internet without or without adequate citations. All the information we need is available on the Internet, but we must make sure that the original author is listed.

• Reproduction of photographs taken from various sources on the Internet without permission or attribution

How we can avoid Plagiarism

Producing original content is the key to avoiding plagiarism
If someone's creative ability is high, plagiarism will be reduced. The original video, the original image and the content are part of the plagiarism.
Video images and other materials taken elsewhere must be provided with the necessary reference sources that are appropriately cited.

CONCLUSION

Plagiarism, as I learned, is a shame for the steemit community. A person can be banned from posting articles in the community as a result of plagiarism.

Plagiarism is a bad idea because it can damage your reputation, as people in the community will perceive you as untrustworthy or dishonest if they find out that you are known as plagiarism.

The time you spend copying someone else's, you can use to work more creatively and come up with new ideas in your own words. Be careful with plagiarism because the consequences cannot be erased.

I have read and understand the steemit tag of the steemit community and will do my best to accept it.

Thanks to my boss for taking time out of their busy schedule to verify my past accomplishments. I will be grateful if this third achievement task is also verified.

Citation Method

The rose is considered the most beautiful flower in the world, which is why it’s called the “queen of the garden.” It’s one of the most popular flowers worldwide, and it comes in different sizes and colors.source
