Now let's look at the various passwords we have encountered on Steemit.
MASTER PASSWORD
This is the password generated by Steemit upon signing up of a new user. This password is very delicate that if misplaced, that account is lost and can never be retrieved. It is also used to generate the other keys/passwords.
That brings us to the Steemit rules, which includes:
First Rule: Don't loose your password.
Second Rule: Don't loose your password.
Third Rule: We cannot retrieve your password
Fourth Rule: If you can remember your password, it is not safe.
Fifth Rule: Use only randomly created passwords.
Sixth Rule: Don't tell anyone your passwords.
Seventh Rule: Always backup your passwords.

OWNER KEY
The owner key is the most essential of all the keys. It is used to change every other keys including the owner key itself. It is advisable to secure it offline, as it is essential for recovering a compromised account.
ACTIVE KEY
This key has a very delicate few roles it plays; it is used for transfer of funds, power up and powering down, witness voting, profile updates, conversion of Steem Dollar and placing a market order.
POSTING KEY
As the name implies; it is used for posting of contents, commenting, voting, resteeming, follows, account mute, editing, deleting. It is advisable to limit the rate of use of the posting key, to avoid a compromised account.
MEMO KEY
This key is basically used to send an encrypted message. It is also used to see any encrypted message sent to you privately.
Basically; these are the keys/passwords to look out for and to secure properly in this Steemit journey.
Apart from defining the various use of these keys, i have also practiced on how to use them. Starting from when i signed up to Steemit, my mentor @shivam09 sent me the link and i followed the instructions and got my master password.
He told me to use it and login into my account, from there i logged into my wallet and went to keys and permissions, copied my owner key, then went to change password and changed all my keys.
I had also practiced on transfer of funds to another user, using my active key. I had also practiced on how to create memo for transfer.
I basically logged into my wallet, clicked on the Steem dollar drop down arrow, then clicked on transfer, afterwards input the username of the person i am transferring to, enter the amount i am sending, create a memo and submit. Then finally confirm with my active key.
@cryptokannon; here is my achievement 2 in my steemit journey, done and dusted.
