After a long time on steemit I have understand everything about Steemit.

Voting and Curation in The Steemit Platform

The Steemit Platform is a social media platform with a one-of-a-kind system for rewarding every article or write-up posted there. A post is normally voted for prizes based on its content after it is published or pasted into the website. Based on its content, an article may be upvoted or downvoted. When an article is upvoted, the author's reward is split 50/50 between the author and the curators. This means that the author of the article receives 50% of the vote, while the curators, or voters, receive 50%. This makes voting on a post stress-free for everyone because their votes will be awarded as well.

What Happens if a Post is Voted Before 5 Minutes Mark After it has been Posted?

If a post is upvoted within 5 minutes, the curator will receive 100% of the award.
If a post is voted on four minutes after it is published, the curator receives 80% of the reward and the reward pool receives 20%.
If it is voted on again three minutes later, 60% of the award goes to the curator and 40% to the reward pool.
And for the next two minutes, 40% of the payout goes to the curator, with the remaining 60% going to the reward pool.
If the vote is completed in one minute, the curator receives 20% of the award and the reward pool receives 80%.
Finally, if a post is voted on the same day it is released, the award pool receives 100% of the reward.

What Witness is and and How to Vote for a witness.

Every witness is in charge of ensuring that the steem Blockchain is safe as well as keeping the steem server up and running at all times. As a result, a witness would need to get a device and actively track the steem server to ensure that it is still running.
