Mosaic Plagiarism
This type of Plagiarism occurs when someone combines text and ideas from different source without citations.

Self Plagiarism
This type of Plagiarism occurs when a person re use passages, words or ideas from their own previously submitted work.

HOW TO PREVENT PLAGIARISM

• I can prevent plagiarism by giving credit to the original author .
• I can prevent plagiarism by quoting the source.
• I can prevent plagiarism by using a quotation, each time I will I want to take a sentence copied from a source.
• I can prevent plagiarism by giving citations.

REASONS WHY PEOPLE DO PLAGIARISM

• Poor time management
• Desire to get good reward or grades
• Fear of failing
• Not understand or getting proper knowledge of what plagiarism means.
• Believing they will not be caught.

HOW TO DEAL WITH PLAGIARISM

• Ensure to give yourself Ample time to research
• Always provide proper in- text citations or references.
• paraphrase.
• Quote sources.
• Get proper knowledge and understanding on what Plagiarism, citations and paraphrase means and the consequences of Plagiarism.
• Always present your own ideas.

When writing, just make sure you concentrate on making your work as unique as possible. Don’t try to take any shortcuts when it comes to something as vital as research for your education or for your work. The consequences may seem trivial at a school level, with a suspension or even expulsion. At a real-world level, however, the consequences can be direr. It can result in a loss of credibility and trust if you’re lucky, but a lawsuit or even jail time if you’re not.
