Special mention to @cryptocannon and @lovveday they have been very helpful to me since I joined the steemit community,with the help of the list of achievement task compiled by @cryptocannon and the relentless support of @Lovveday I have been able to write my achievement 3 task.

Content Etiquette

This simple means rules and ways that govern a particular group of people, applying this definition to the steemit community we can say that content etiquette means the rules that govern the way of creating content or post in the steemit community.

Concept of prove of brain

The proof of Brian concept consist of rewarding authors for creating original content and this is the back bone of the steemit community. citation must be given if an idea or work is not from the author writing a content.

What is plagiarism

Plagiarism simple means copying i.e taking another person's idea or work as one's own without mentioning the original author.

According to science direct Plagiarism is defined as “the appropriation of another person’s ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit”.Science direct.

Plagiarism does not meet the required etiquette by the steemit community because earlier I made mention that proof of brain is the bedrock of the steemit community and it shun against plagiarised content.

Types of plagiarism

• The use of words for words of an idea by another author without citation

• Changing of some words or part of a sentence of another author content and trying to trick people to believe it is your own idea

• Stealing other people's work or article to make look think like yours by spinning words

How to avoid plagiarism

The best way to avoid making a plagiarized post is by not trying at all. Making use of one's idea is the best way of avoiding plagiarism and if you are to use another author's idea you are expected to make citation of the author.
