Hello steemians,my name is chimaobi and I am from Nigeria.
how are you doing,today I am going to take a step further towards completing my achievement5 task.I will be writing on the topic " steemscan.com " .
Steemscan is a platform that was developed by @futureshock,it allows steemians or any other person to check the current price of Steem, observe live transactions going on within the Steem block chain, and recently generated blocks.

QUESTION NUMBER 1

• EXPLAIN THE CURRENT STEEM PRICE AND VOLUMES ON DATE OF SUBMISSION OF THIS REVIEW?

The current price of STEEM is $0.42 per steem. when explained in a simple term,iIt means one steem coin can be purchased for $0.42 as of 03/31/2022 at 5:12 AM here in Nigeria.

"Volume" means the amount of STEEM coins that have been traded within the past 24 hours in a particular crypto market. The volume at this time is $2,963.30 which can be clearly shown in the image below.

• EXPLAIN WHAT ALL INFORMATION IS SHOWN UNDER LATEST TRANSACTIONS AND LATEST BLOCKS SECTION?

LATEST TRANSACTIONS

It shows the activities performed by steemians on steemit platform and it is within the steem block chain ,the activities could be voting, reward etc. latest transaction tab also shows the details concerning a particular transaction like the Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver/Permlink/Id, Type, Amount/%/Payload . It's shown in the below image.

LATEST BLOCKS

It gives a detailed information about the ID of the block.

• EXPLAIN WHAT ALL INFORMATION IS SHOWN UNDER WITNESSES SECTION AND STEPS TO VOTE A WITNESS.

Witnesses are those users who helps in the day to day running of the Steem block chain . It shows the sum of all witnesses, steem mined, the height of the last blocks, and the users who help to run the the system. It's shown in the image below.
You can access the witness with this few steps

Click on menu

Click on "witnesses"

Then this will appear

As you can see from the picture above,as of the time of writing this Post,the current witness was "steem-agora" and the last block height was 62880515.

You can vote for the user by following the steps below

Question 4

• EXPLAIN WHAT IS DApps AND MENTION 3 DApps WHICH YOU HAVE ALREADY USED OR MAY USE IN FUTURE AS PER YOUR INTEREST?

DApps which is the short pronunciation for Decentralized Applications is a program that runs on the blockchain or p2p networks.it gives the users the privilege to interact directly with one other instead of being controlled by a single or central Authority.
Examples of the DApps I like is peepeth, cryptokitties and makerDAO, although I am not engaging any of the listed DApps for now.
Different kinds of DApps are shown on steemscan.com.

• EXPLAIN HOW TO USE "QUICK CONVERT" AND WHAT IS THE FEE CHARGED FOR DIFFERENT STEEM AMOUNT FOR WITHDRAWAL?

It is a tool that enables us to convert STEEM into USDT, BTC, and TRX. In other To convert your STEEM into other crypto currencies,a certain amount of fees will be charged . For example, if you want to convert 1 STEEM to USDT,the fee would be 1.08093680 USDT as shown in the image below

If you want to convert 1 STEEM to BTC,the fee will be 0.0005009 BTC as shown in the image below

If you want to convert 1 STEEM to TRX,the fee will be 0.6400000 TRX as shown in the image below

• EXPLAIN WHAT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED BY THE "SEARCH" FEATURE?

In this section you will see information about transactions, blocks,accounts, and witnesses. If you want to have a knowledge of the account summary of any user on steemit platform just type in the username and press enter. information about the user's account will be displayed.

As you can see from the picture above,I tried searching my username and I found everything summary concerning my account.
