Hi to everyone,
I am a person of Mohammed Zakaria(Magzy) and am here to complete my achievement two(2) task where I will like to answer questions on the basic security task on steemit as my achievement two(2) task.

To my understanding I’ll like to say that security is defined as the situation of being freedom free and resilience against potential harm caused by others.

There are keys that are used for different purposes on steemit.

And these keys are supposed to be tired steadily offline.
Because this keys are very long and cannot be stored off head. So the should be kept safely offline.

Question 1:
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes I’ve saved my keys offline.
I have saved copies on my phone notes with password and also saved copies into my iCloud storage after I registered on steemit; my posting key, active key, memo key and owner key.

Question 2:
Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Yes I do.
The posting key is being allowed by users to post contest, vote on contents, comment on others post, edit posts, follow and also mute others etc.

It is recommended that we use the posting key in our daily activities non steemit because this restrict the harm if incase the account is in concession.

The active key:

This key is used for significant matters on steemit.

The key is being used for transferring funds, powering up and down, converting steem dollars, voting for steem witnesses and also updating your profile.

The owner key:

This key is used for recovering compromised accounts.
This particular key can be used to change any key on your account. It is only meant to be used in important times.

The memo key:

This key is used in coding and decoding memos.

The pound sign is used to decode memos.

Question 3:
How do you plan to keep master password?

I have downloaded my keys and stored them in my phone note and iCloud.

Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes I do.
1: Click in the avatar at the top corner
2: click on profile from the menu that pops up.
3: select wallet.
4: You will see steem with a downward arrow, click it.
5:select transfer
6: from the pop up, fill the name of the person you want to transfer to.
7: click next and then confirm the transaction.

Question 5:
Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes, it is done this way.

Click on your profile
Select wallet.
You will Steem with the downward arrow pointing downwards , click on it.
Click on power up.
Enter the amount of steem you want to power up and confirm by clicking on power up button.

This is the basics you should know about security on steemit.
