Hi, once again, I had love to cease this medium to emphasize on the basic security on steemit and carefully analyse it purposes and fitness.
The word security implies safety that's to say it's free from harm. It is not new for legit platform to have a protective ground from unauthorized access or invasion, making it safe for users to access anytime without harbouring fear of invasion to privacy due to weak security. Steemit for instance have different security keys which aids and protect the private information of every user. These keys include post key, active key, owner key and Master Password keys.

THE MASTER PASSWORD KEY:

The master password is mostly used in generating other keys. The master password key is kept confidential for the user alone and required for account recovery. Due to alarming cases on account comprise, to protect the Master Password key the user is advised stay security conscious on safeguarding the master password key by keeping it private and concealing it from public knowledge.

POSTING KEY:

The posting key allows and permits the user to execute certain activities such as commenting, voting, follow or mute account, edit and to post. Compromise to user account occurs on the note of logging into steemit with the post key daily. User account however could be bridged and compromise on this note.

ACTIVE KEYS:

These key are used for updating profile and making market orders. It functions differently from other keys reason been that it's used for more transactional purpose.

OWNERS KEY:

The owner key is used to change other keys of the user account and only used when necessary. Pertaining the fact of the user account been compromised the owner key can be used to recover compromised nor stolen Accounts. The owner keys is meant to be stored safe offline for easy retrieval.

MEMO KEYS:

like the name suggests. The memo keys is used in simplest aspect. It's used to decrypt and encrypt memos from public knowledge while transferring funds on steemit.

WALLET AND TRANSFER.

Steem wallet grants you optimum Access over your assets. Below is a picture of the steem wallet.

TRANSFER

To transfer fund from a user wallet to the receiving wallet. The user provide the information in the given rectangular space. The information is to be provided accurately to avoid wrong transactions to am unknown wallet. The sender details is entered in the (from) space. And the receiver details is entered in the (to) space. The amount of fund to be transferred is entered in the (amount) space as indicated below.

Transfer Steem Outside Steem Platform.

The transfer of steem outside the platform. Here the steem user provide the details in the available space. Unlike the previous he provide the sender details in the (From) and enter the receiver username in the memo space instead of putting it in the receiver (To)space. You provide the steem Address of the receiver or any other wallet address.

HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM

Login into your steem wallet, click on Steem and alternate options will Surface, click on power up. It's less stressful and much easier to comprehend.
