DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW VOTING AND CURATION WORK IN STEEMIT?
Yes, I understand how voting and curation work in Steemit.
Here is some explanation on how it works.

VOTING:
To vote a post means you recognize and acknowledge the user's work. Voting is of two types; upvote and downvote.
Upvoting is the act of acknowledging a post while to downvote means you disregard a users post.

Voting manner:
Every Steemit user has a voting manner, and this voting manner decreases with every increase in your votings; I.e with an increase in the rate at which a user votes post, the user's voting manner decreases as well proportionally. Voting manner replenishes daily by 20%.

CURATION IN THE STEEMIT SYSTEM
Curation in the steemit system means to upvote a post, an upvoter is "A Curator". A curator is mostly entitled to 50% of the reward allocated by his vote.

What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes mark after posting?

The 50% reward a curator gets from a post will be reduced because the vote was made before 5 minutes collapsed. The reduction from a curators 50% reward varies due to time,
