Hello distinguished Steemit lovers, My name is Liams1 and I am glad to complete my third achievement having completed the first two.
The Content you are about to read entails the topic plagiarism so I will try my best to educate the procedures and processes in step by step intel based on the post by @cryptokannon on Content Etiquette.

What is Plagiarism?

What comes to Many people's mind when they think of plagiarism is simply copying another's work or borrowing or extracting someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "Extracting" can disguise the seriousness of the offense
Plagiarism as a word could become a topic which could be studied in schools and colleges in respect to Project writing, publishing of books and contents.
According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, to "plagiarize" means:
to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
to use (another's production) without crediting the source
to commit literary theft
to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source

Words or write-ups generalized as Plagiarism:

• Claiming Someone's work as yours
• Not giving credits to copied ideas or words
• Incorrect information about a source
• Rephrasing words and not giving credits to the maid idea of the words
Also images videos and music too could be tagged as Plagiarism

Types of Plagiarism

• Complete Plagiarism
• Direct Plagiarism
• Source Based Plagiarism
• Auto Plagiarism
• Paraphrasing Plagiarism etc.

Effects Of Plagiarism:

• Plagiarism Encourages Sloppy Research
• It harms Educational Advancements
• It affects students Negatively
• It kills self dependence

How to Avoid Plagiarism:

• Try developing your own pattern and style
• Use quotation marks when you are using someone's work
• Have range of sources
• Make use of References and Citations
