Markdown can be used for everything. Some people use it to create websites, documents, notes, books, presentations, and others. It is easy to learn and helps in formatting your work so that it appears neat. Some of the markdown skills are as follows;

HEADINGS
To create a heading, you need to add signs like (#) I front of a word. The number of signs you use should correspond to the heading level. For example;

heading 1

heading 2

heading 3

heading 4

heading 5
heading 6
 ALTERNATE SYNTAX

On the line below the text, add any number of == characters for the heading level 1 or __ characters for heading level 2.

  PARAGRAPHS

For paragraphs, use blank lines to separate one or more lines of the text. . You can use < > but put (p) in the middle the after closing it you write your sentence and then put back the first symbol< followed by a p then then the closing symbol >. For example;

i love my Lord

Donot put space infront of your sentence because it will disorganize the formation.

    EMPHASIS

You can add emphasis to a point by putting in in bold or the italics font. This helps the reader see your main point of focus. You only need to use two star symbols and then then type what you want and end the statement with them still . For example;
this is my birth month
And then fir italics you need to use three stars then the word to focus one and still end the sentence with the three stars. For example;
This is really a hot day

     LISTS AND BLOCK QOUTES

When making lists you need to be very careful. Your doing list has to look like this;
-point one
-point two
-point three

The unordered list looks like this;
+point one
*point two
-point three

The block quotes look like this;(>)

you can use this arrow
just like this
in a uniform way
and it appears like a quotation in a way distinct from other words

      ADD IMAGES

Images are good blog entries. They make your work attractive to read because it is not plain. You need to add an exclamation mark(!) followed by the alt text I brackets, and the path or URL to the image asset in the parenthese.

Those were some of the markdown skills I have read about and Incase of any additional information , please read through @markgruber’s guide on markdowns.
