Achievement 2
I will be talking about steemit security codes/ keys, These keys intend to help the your do some strategic function on steemit platform, hence making more complex than a normal social media which requires just a password to access an account and run every other activities in the account, here on steemit there are more keys/passwords with different functions and restrictions too. I will like to let you know that I have retrieve all my keys.
KEYS IN STEEMIT
MASTER PASSWORD:This key in my opinion is really important and should be saved offline, I actually added my own to my document files, this key is the key which generates other keys, which helps the user to access or perform other specific function or the unique function
PRIVATE OWNER'S KEY: I call it the backup key, because it helps restore or reset other keys once the account has been compromised and I advice it stays offline too alongside the master password and other keys too
PRIVATE POSTING KEY:This key is used to log in to steemit site or apps and aids perform other social media activities like voting, community and posting
PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY: This key is used to perform wallet transactions, actions like converting SBD and placing market orders
MEMO KEY:This key is used to encrypt and decrypt of memos during fund transfers.
There are other keys given to user like the tron keys and public keys. That can be revealable unlike the private keys to third parties, in my opinion, I think all should not be revealed, and should kept offline in well documentary kept. Some advice keeping as mails but i will advice offline because of hacking of mails and other online accounts
Now I will take about steemit wallet and it's features, I will state down procedures necessary for transactions on steem wallet, like transfer of steems to binance wallets, withdrawal of funds and even transfer of steem to another steem wallet
PROCEDURES INVOLVED IN STEEM TRANSACTIONS IN A STEEM WALLET
STEP1: After login to your steem account click on your profile then a table appears, within the table are options, click on wallet
STEP2: the wallet opens, I logged into my wallet first with my private posting key, to be able to access my steem (in case it is your first time opening your wallet) do that as well
STEP3: Now your wallet is active, you can as well see steem, steem power, steem dollar and CO listed in their columns, and by their right you can see their numerical values, click on the numerical value of steem, a table will appear with options, which of them is transfer, click on transfer then
STEP4: An interface opens, within the interface you can see 4 columns.. if it's a steemit wallet to steemit wallet transaction you want to perform. The first three columns are more effective.. Which are, the first column which is for you the sender, the second columns which is for the receiver( the steemit wallet you are sending to) then the third column which is meant for the amount you would like to send and then click the NEXT button at the edge ending of left side of the interface .. In the case of transferring to a binance wallet you fill the second column with "deepcrypto8" then the third with the account you want to transfer and now the fourth/public memo column with your binance wallet address before clicking the NEXT button.. Which will take you to a transfer success page
PROCEDURE INVOLVED IN POWERING UP STEEM
STEP1: When you get to your wallet, click on the steem numerical value highlighted in green by the right of the column, a table will appear with options like transfer power up and Co, click power up
STEP2: an interface opens, here you put in the amount of steem you want to power up to steem power then click POWER UP... Power up is actually used to convert steem to steem power
