Achievement2@kombatnatuka Task on basic security in steemit

Hi steemian,
Today I am going to explain to my understanding the achivement 2 about the basic security and the keys that where giving to us and their uses in the steemit community.
Normally we are provided with places to enter our passwords to secure ourselves but in steemit the have provided us with five(5) keys (passwords) that can be used at dfferent times for different reasons.
These are not just passwords but they also contains a QR codes to keep use more secured.
Basically there are five keys in all and they have the various names too to categorize their uses.
@cryptokanon also gave some explanation to their uses to help use further understand them.

The five keys that where giving are
Master key or password
Private owner key
Private posting key
Private memo key
Private active key

1. The master key or password as it is said is the master of all the keys and can be used to generate all other keys for the steemit platform. So this password is the most important key to me. Since it can generate the other keys.

The second most important key is the private owner key. This key is used is used to reset all keys in case the account is been hacked or if you fell you want to reset your keys and this can be done in 30 days.

The private active key is the next key it used to to get acess to the wallet and and all other other related functions such transfer steem and others.

The private memo key is used to transfer funds in an encrypted and decryted memos.

The private posting key is the key key we use to login in to our accounts. It is also used to for voting ,posting and other thing in the account.

These keys are very important to keep you safe from hacker so it is up to us to place our keys in secure location if possible make hard copies or store them in external drives and also privent any third party from having access to them .

1. Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit.
   Yes I did on the first day I signed up for steemit.

2. How do you plan to keep your master password ?
   My master password is keep in my private eternal hard drive that only I have access to.
   And there is another save in my cloud account just in case.

3. Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another user account?
   Yes , you login to you account go you you profile and click on the wallet button on the right.

   A new page open and and then you login with your id and the private active key.
   The you can click on the steem button  a drop  down menu appears .

click on the transfer button and type the person name and the amount of steem you want to transfer. And the confirm the transfer of steem.

1. Do you know how to power up you steem ?

As explain in question 4 you go to you wallet and the click the steem buttom you get a drop down menu then click power up.

A pop up appears you enter the amount you want to and you are done.
