Achievement 5 Task 2 by @kinkyamiee : Review Steemscan.com_100% Power Up.

Hello everyone, i am back again with my achievement post and this time i will be writing on what i understand from steemscan.com , thanks to @yohan2on for a detailed post on this topic. He was able to throw more light on what steemscan offers to users, like enabling them exchange their currency into fiat and also how user friendly the tools found there are. I also understood that steemscan was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich and doesn't need any KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

What is Steemscan?

Steemscan is an exchange tool that can be used to change steem in to other cryptocurrency. Though steem can only be exchanged for USDT, BTC and TRX for now from steemscan because its built unto the blockchain. Now there are special features found on steemscan, i will be talking about them and how to use them.

When i visited steemscan.com, the first page i saw was the home page which has the menu icon there and when clicked on, you have a drop down that contains some icons, they are: Home, witnesses, Dapps, Dev tools, quick exchange, search and Steem Engine. As shown below.

Also, if you want to switch to any other currency so as to compare with steem, you can click the steem/usd icon at the top right corner of the home screen to do that.

Quick Convert.

For you to be able to make a quick convert, that is , exchange steem to other forms of cryptocurrency, you have to go through the following steps:

• Click on the menu icon on the home page and click on the quick convert icon.

• Next, You will have to enter the amount of steem you would like to exchange with any of these currencies; USDT, BTC and TRX.

• After that, you chose your wallet for receiving the preferred cyptocurrency and then create the order.
• Lastly, you enter your active key in the pop up prompt to confirm the order and thats it.
• Once the order is been processed, a standard fee of approximately $1 is been charged for the transaction, be it small or bulk.

Witnesses

The witnesses icon enables a user to vote a witness and this is done by clicking on the 'Witness' feature on the home page, once you click on it, it brings out names of witnesses you can vote, so once you see the list, you can vote.

DApps

This shows all the various dapps that can be used and accessed by users. They include: DTube, Steemit, SteemHunt etc. Most of these dapps do not attract any charge when used. I have been able to use SteemWorld, Steemit and Dtube.

Latest Price and Volume of steem.

From the above image, you noticed that the price of steem/usd is $1.17 which has drastically risen. As regards to the volume of steem to sbd, the amount of steem is less when compared to sbd, that is when you are converting from Sbd to steem, you have a smaller amount of steem due to the fact that the price of steem is high.
