According to the dictionary on finance security is a proof of ownership of stocks, bonds or other investment instrument, on my own map of view i recognize security as some thing one or any body cannot do without.
Security is the basic means we use to safe guild our self and properties, being security cautions over our daily engagement keeps you on the game. Security gives you the ground of ownership dominion over things you have as a key to your house, without the key (security) no access.
Regard to the security engagement on steemit blog should be a serious concern over how we protect, control, use, and properly manage our functional keys which are the access to our blog, wallet and other pages.
With an explanation let me go on details on the functions of all the key applicable to steemit blog.

WHAT IS STEEMIT KEYS
This is different keys with different function used to carry out task on steemit, all this keys are private keys and can be used by one person, relating this keys to third party can lead your account to be compromised.
So therefore for your account not to be vandalized you must have to keep it in a safer place like your email account for ease in retrieving, so to secure our passwords and keep it safe should be our priority.

STEEMIT KEYS

1. Owner key
2. Master key
3. Active key
4. Posting key
5. Memo key

OWNER KEY:
This key is special in the sense that it can change any key in your account, is used when your account is a beat compromised, is an offline key as well.
Functions:
Is used to change other keys to password
Is being used to change the owner key
Is used for account recovery

THE MASTER KEY:
It serves as driver to other keys in your account including the owner keys
Functions:
Is used in generating other key
It gives way to change our key to passwords
Is the master of all key, when lost the key, you lost your account

THE ACTIVE KEY
This particular key is special and unique to anybody that deals with wallet
Is used in having access to the wallet
It gives you access to power up SP 100% and down or 50, 50 down
It gives u access to to buy and transfer found on steemitblog
It used to update profile.
Is used in converting steem dollar on market

POSTING KEYS:
This key is just unique on his own as the name implies.
Functions:
Is for posting
It is used for editing, deleting, muting and resteeming.

MEMO KEY
Functions: is used in sending encrypted messages or viewing in encrypted messages.
Am now use to all the functional keys on steemitblog since i was introduce, with this experience, key is security and security is the key.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MASTER KEY AND OWNER KEY
The master key you have a full access to unlock your account and have control over it without any one compromising it but can be retrieve back once the account is issued.
Owner key you don't have access to unlock it when is the account is dealt it by a swindler,
