So do you know what plagiarism is? So, if you don't know, here's the explanation.

Plagiarism is a matter of copying someone's work or copying ideas by including it in their own work, or it can be said to take the rights of others without that person's consent, without full references.Plagiarism can also be done intentionally, unintentionally, and carelessly.

What situations are considered plagiarism?

Plagiarism often occurs in an academic situation. However, plagiarism can also occur in countless things, from an academic article to daily blogs, from a video uploaded to the web to even a photo gallery.

How to share without plagiarism?
For this discussion, you really need to understand yes.

The most important thing to do is that we must very clearly indicate that it is a quote that we use or we use in an article we must use double quotes or the format of the quote or (" "), and provide the source of the photo we use.

Types of plagiarism

1. Copy and paste plagiarism

This time we will discuss about what is meant by copy-paste. For example, when someone takes someone else's idea and pastes it on the paper he is using, the process is called copy-pasting or plagiarism.

2. Paraphrasing plagiarism.

This paraphrasing is also one of the most common types of theft. Paraphrasing When we take one of the paragraphs of another person, and we do not present it with the same sentence, but we present it by making a lot of changes in it.

3. Outright plagiarism.

In this direct plagiarism I will talk about what direct plagiarism is. You can guess from this word to be able to steal it directly as if someone could take it for just a few ingredients, copy the sentence from there and present it as one's own and never name it. The whole process of copying the content is called direct plagiarism.

4. Self plagiarism.

Do you know what is self plagiarism? That means you own the content. Once you have it and share the content in one of your communities and you can also share the same content in other communities. Now this process is called self plagiarism.

5. Unintentional plagiarism.

Accidental theft will occur when you never quote the text correctly, when you write a few sentences and what you have written before without giving any credit to the person. This process is called accidental theft. I really hope you can be aware of all kinds of plagiarism.

How to avoid plagiarism

- Don't just copy

In an article that we will write, explain what other people's ideas or results have written using a reference and for them strongly for the argument, rather than simply copying what you have read. Avoid using the cut and paste option in an electronic material because this encourages you to only be able to copy what you have read, we will not thrive if we can only copy from other people's sentences.

- Use multiple sources

Let's not limit ourselves to using one source when writing an assignment. Discuss ideas from a variety of available sources to show that you have read extensively on the subject and show that you are able to formulate your own views on what you have read.

- Develop your own style

You should be able to develop your own writing style. Try to write short and clear.

- Use quotes

If you wish to quote from a few short quotations from the words of other authors, make sure you enclose these words in quotation marks to indicate that they are direct quotations. You should know that what you are doing is actually called theft.

Consequences of plagiarism

Allegations of plagiarism can result in very fatal things for all of us, for example, students can be expelled from school and their academic records may reflect mistakes that are not good for morals, in colleges it is also very fatal with this.

Quote.

Reference is to mention a link between the author and other authors and the text so that it can make it easier for the reader to do a further research because the reference helps a reader to know that part of the text is not yours.

How to quote text.

If you want to find any text, the easiest way of doing this is to Google it first and we can find out about any text we want.

However, as I mentioned earlier, if we are afraid of plagiarism without realizing it, we can prevent it from happening by accident, by using one of the sites that can check our articles and photos for plagiarism on the internet.
