Plagiarism can be defined as the act of stealing others ideas without legal permission. Plagiarism can be found in written work like; magazine, journal, project etc.
It is highly prohibited in writing because it is more or less like snatching what is not yours.
Steemit, as a social blog is also against this act.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

1. Global Plagiarism: it means plagiarizing or stealing an entire text. This include purchasing an essay or changing an assignment completed by someone else.
2. Patchwork or Mosaic Plagiarism:
   This is the means copying phrases, passages, and ideas from different sources and compiling them into a new text.
3. Incremental Plagiarism: this also means inserting a small amount of plagiarized content on a mostly original text.
4. Self -plagiarism: it means recycling, representing your own previous work that you have already published or submitted.

Pirating is the act of stealing, copying others work by adding or removing the main content without the owner's consent.
As a result of this, the copyright is something that protect an industry work so as to protect it from the criminals and snatchers.
