Hello steemians, today I am happy to share with you my achievement 3 post on plagiarism

what is Plagiarism
Plagiarism to my best of knowledge is putting a write up that is not yours. In other words, it's the act of falsifying or changing a piece of document, Text, or even speech and present it as own documents or words that you manufactured from your mental faculty or environs.

Plagiarism means presenting someone else’s work as your own. In academic writing, plagiarizing involves using words, ideas, or information from a source without including a proper citation.

Plagiarism on Steemit
The following are my opinion on plagiarism on steemit:

  1. Copying of somebody's work and posting it as your own work.

  2. Presenting a content which is copied from the net without a source

  3. Importing images from sites that are not allow and equally not referencing the source etc.

Consequences of Plagiarism on Steemit

  • It can lead to a down vote of one's post

  • It can lead to lose of reputation

  • One can be banned from participating in certain contest on steemit

Educational Plagiarism and Consequences

In today's world, Plagiarism is seen as normal thing. People such as lecturers, student, business men, to mention just but a few, has found it to be legit to pyrate other people's work as Thiers! Which is bad and even though they knew what they are doing is bad, they don't care about it. This is just copy and pasts.

Today students hardly write project on their own because they don't want the stress involved. The lecturer will put it clear that he/she has material for the project but you have to pay for it . by this act, even those who would have tested the process and equally have an in dept Knowledge about the writing of project will be deprived. The only thing done is just removing the back cover and replacing it with a new design and changing the name and other important thing to replace, and this system kills the mental environment of people who were supposed to be creative and equally kills ideas. If at the course of your study, you saw what you wish to include in your project, then copy it but cite it correctly for referencing as in the above definition.

Plagiarism has carried many to prisons, this is the reason you always see this book should not be produced without the concern of the owner.

Remark
I have read and understood the steemit Etiquette on steemit community and I will do my best to embrace them.

Thanks for viewing my blog.
