Hello Steemians! This post talks about two important things a writer should know, These are etiquette and plagiarism.

What is Etiquette?

Etiquette in simpler words is defined as good behavior that distinguishes human beings from animals. A human being is a social animal and he needs to behave appropriately. Etiquette refers to behaving in a socially responsible way. It refers to guidelines that control the way a responsible individual should behave in society.

Need for Etiquette

• Etiquette makes you a cultured individual who leaves his mark wherever he goes.
• Etiquette teaches you the way you talk, walk, and most importantly, how you behave in society.
• Etiquette is essential for an everlasting first impression. The way you interact with your superiors, parents, fellow workers, and friends. It speaks a lot of your personality and upbringing.
• Etiquette enables individuals to earn respect and appreciation in society. No one would feel like talking to a person who does not know how to speak or behave in society. Etiquette inculcates a feeling of trust and loyalty in individuals. One becomes more responsible and mature. Plagiarism

What is Plagiarism?

Based from what I have understood, this is another kind of intellectual thief. You copied the work of others, reproduced it in any form as if it's yours and of course without the original owner's concent.

Obviously, doing so is improper and your image as a writer is tented doomed. Don't ever practice this thing because eventually you won't progress in this field and become incredible in people's eyes.

We also need to put in mind, not only this is improper but also against the law. And the bigger problem may occur in the future if we won't take this seriously.

The only secret to becoming successful in writing is to make your content original.
