In an interview room is seen the interviewer and the person to be interviewed.

1 Then the interviewer asked have you retrieve all your keys on @steemit?

Yes Sir I have retrieved all my keys on @steemit

2 So tell me about the keys, their functions and restriction.

The posting key: It is used to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. The posting key is mostly used on a daily bases to log into steemit account. Your posting key is likely to be compromised because of frequent use so a limited posting key is available to stop the damage a compromised key will cause.

The owner key: Is only used to make necessary change in an account. It is mostly used to recover a compromised account.

The active key: Is used for the transfer of sensitive tasks like the transfer of funds, power up and power down transactions, converting steem Dollars, updating profile, voting for witness and placing a market order.

Memo key: Is decrypting and encrypting memos when transferring funds. When encrypting a memo, make use of the pound or hash tag # sign before it.

3 So how do you intend to keep your master key safe?

I intend to keep my master key safe by storing it offline in a safe box where am very sure no harm or calamity will come on it.

4 Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?

Yes I know how to transfer my steem token to other steem users account.

Ok, so tell me how do you do the transfer.

You first click on the down arrow close to the number of steem tokens held in the wallet section of your account, then you click transfer in the drop down box. You then enter the name of the account you want to make the transfer to, then the number of memo and tokens, then you click next. After that, you enter a memo on the confirmation screen then you click okay to confirm your transfer.

5 How do you power up your steem?

You power up your steem by using the drop down box as the transfer close to the steem number, but this time around you select the power up, enter the quantity of steem you want and click power up.
