#INTRODUTION.
In steemit community we all have to know the formats through which things are done and how to do them. Today I will be talking about # Security on. steemit I.e how you can keep your account safe, which entails ;
°what you will do,
°how you can do it,
°when to do it,
°And why you must do it. We all know that anyone who is able to make use of this opportunity is blessed and knowing the worth of where we are and the parliatives we all need to guide it.

Nowadays, we have a lot of cyber crimes and online scams everywhere so as an individual aware of what is going on you must make sure that you #logintoyouraccountwithsteemitlegitlink. There are so many links out there in the internet and we have to be very careful especially the #Newbies on steem. To avoid your account being tampered with. This one of the most important thing you need to do.

         #HOWYOUCANDOIT.

We all (new and old members) can keep our account safe by not letting a third party have your account details its as simple as that. Once you register on steem you are being handed over all the #securitypass you will be needing at all time and stage know as your #Keys. The keys include your master key, private posting key etc.

            #WHENYOUCANDOIT.

It is required of you to secure your keys immediately you get it is being issued to you after being successfully registered. You can save those keys on the following gadgets.
*Phone WPS.
*Laptop.
*Google Drive.
*Flash Drive.
*Hard disk drive etc. You password can be saved there without anyone accessing it. You save them there incase you lose hold of the keys you can safely visit any of these gadgets to get it back without stress.

#WHYYOUMUSTDOIT.
You must do these above instructions, to avoid you panicking or been taken unawares by hackers and loss of keys which restrict / hinder you from accessing your account. You have to see Steemit keys as one of your inherited documents and keep it safe away from harm.

Steemit keys comprises of capital letters, small letters and numbers a total of 51 which makes it a strong password and the total number of the passwords and more.

We have the total of #11keys on steem and they are sub-divided into 3(three) major
segments.

#THE 3 SEGMENTS ARE:

• The Tron keys.
• The Steem Private Keys.
• The Steem Public Keys. They all makes up the 11 steemit keys.

#USES/FUNCTIONSOFSTEEMKEYS

TRON PUBLIC KEY: this key is an authority key used for transferring tron to a particular address.

TRON PRIVATE KEY: this key is used for signing Tron transactions such as freezing, transferring and voting.

PRIVATE POSTING KEY: this is the securty pass for logging into your steemit account for social activities such as commenting, posting etc.

PRIVATE MEMO KEY: this used for private transfer.

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY: this Is used for transferring of steem and powering up steem.

PRIVATE OWNER KEY: this is a special key used to control other keys like changing their passwords, and also recovering your account.

MASTER PASSWORD: this password is used to generate other passwords in this document.
