Achievement 2 - Task: Basic Security on Steemit by @joemuknic

Hello every one welcome to my achievement 2 post in the newcomers community, i introduced my self yesterday and today i am going to start completing my achievement posts because according @ngoenyi before doing other things so let's begin with today achievement task.

Question Number 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

I will say yes to that because i have downloaded the PDF containing my keys like my active, posting, owner key and so on even my tron keys have been retrieved and stored in my memory card because i did copy the PDF file and stored it in memory card and also my laptop so that incase one get missing i can not lose them all.

Question Number 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

I know this keys functions and i am going to make them known to you through my explanation of them.

I). Steemit posting key: This is the steemit key normally used for posting, upvoting, comenting resteem, and so on which can be done also with the sctive key but if you are not using a private phone or computer i will advice you to use only your posting key to access your wallet.

II). Steemit active key: This is the almighty key in the account activity carrying because it is been used to do all the things that posting key does but it goes futher to do other things becasue it also can be used to access and operate your steemit wallet.

III). Steemit memo key: This is the key that used to encrypt and decrypt messages while sending ot to some other steemit user, to do this you have to add # at the begining of your letter.

IV). Steemit owner key: This is key that is the most important because with this key you change other keys, you can also use it to recover an hacked account when necessary.

V). Tron Public key: This is the tron wallet key that you can use to see how many tron you have achieved and it is also uses to create your tron wallet in the begining.

VI). Tron Private key: This is the key used to control your tron asset in your tron wallet, when i mean controll i mean send, recieve funds.

Question Number 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

I plan to keep my master password in a way that i don't ever forget that is why i stored in so many places i like my brain, myphone, memory card, laptop and laptop so that in case one gets deleted i don't lose everything.

Question Number 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

• login then click wallet
• click the steem balance then click transfer

• enter the reciever account name
• enter the amount of steem
• click next
• cross check very well so that you don't send it to a different person because it is not retrievable.

Reminder to complete the transaction your active key is needed.

Question Number 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

I know how to power up and i am going to show you guys how to do it.

• login then click wallet
• scroll down a little bit then click steem amount.
• then click power up
• click the amount of steem you are ready to convert to steem power.

Reminder this process can only be completed with your steemit active key, you have to lohin with your active key before power up.
