Achievement2 @jhune Task:Basic security on steem

Hello guys welcome to my achievement2 post , thank you again for verifying my achievement1 it made me really happy and more excited .the purpose of my achievement2 is to give me a sound understanding about the steemit security system and better my experience .

               SECURITY

Security is basically the state of being free from danger or threat be it physically , emotionally or digitally .
SECURITY KEY 🔑 .
A security key is a device that facilitates access or stronger authentication into other devices, online systems and applications . (web definition )
STEEM SECURITY SYSTEM
Steem operates a hierarchical key system .

The master key is at the top of the chainbecause it oversees every other key . the master key or the owner key can be used when changing your password but however steemit lays emphasis on saving the different passwords assigned to you because being careless with your password can cause you your steemit account
some of the rules to know about your steemit passworld :
Rule 1: Do not lose your password
Rule 2: again do not lose your password
Rule 3: We can not recover your password
Rule 4: If you cannot remember your password then it is not secure
Rule 5: Use only randomly generated password
Rule 6: Do not tell anyone your password
Rule 7: Always backup your password .
Having a knowledge of these rules will however keep you or make you security conscious . losing your password is therefore not an option .

       Steem security keys 🔑 

POSTING KEY .
The posting key allows accounts to perform social activities like to post, comment, edit, vote,resteem and follow or mute other accounts. Although being at the bottom of the chain the posting key is very functional to steem but can ne easily abused or over used .

ACTIVE KEY
The active key is ment for transactions that are sensitive such as transferring funds , power up/ down transactions , voting for witnesses , updating profile details and avatar , and placing market order .

OWNER KEY
The owner key is the most powerful key on steemit , it is so because the owner key can change any key on the account including the owner key itself .

MEMO KEY
The memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos on transferring funds .

 Question 1:   Have you received all your keys on steemit ?

Answer:
yes i have .

Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions ?

Answer :
yes i do , perfectly well.

 Question 3: how do u plan to keep your master password ? 

Answer :
I plan on keeping my master password by saving offline in my draft which is very secured .

Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steemit token to another steemit account ? 

Answer :
Yes i do

By clicking on transfer in the image above ,

after clicking on transfer you will be directed to the neck site which is the account transfer site , after feeling the required options you click on next .

 Question 5: Do you know how to power up your steem ? 

Answer :
yes i do ,
you click on the the power up option on the diagram above which will also direct you to another site for more options .
just like transferring process you also have to fill the options after which you click on power up .

 In conclusion , it is very important and wise to save your password in a save place to avoid forgetting it or getting it on the wrong hands .
