In our daily lives like every organization, group, platform or institution, there are a set of rules and guidelines that govern the behaviour of individuals. Hence, it is the responsibility of everyone to abide by these rules and regulations. Since these rules guide the community in one way or the other.

First of all, let's get to know more about what plagiarism is, the types of plagiarism and how to avoid plagiarism.

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by putting it into your work without full acknowledgment. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed, or electronic form, when used without citing the source fall under plagiarism. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. source

Accidental Plagiarism, Mosaic Plagiarism, Direct Plagiarism, Self Plagiarism, Hired Plagiarism and aggregated plagiarism are some types or forms of plagiarism.
The first 3 are explained below:

Accidental Plagiarism : This deals with the type of plagiarism where the person does not cite their sources, paraphrase a source by using same words unintentionally and misqoute sources without attribution to the source of information.

Mosaic Plagiarism: This type of plagiarism occurs when an individual reuses a group of words, ideas and phrases from a source without really indicating the ideas and words that he/she borrowed and without citing the source properly.

Direct Plagiarism: This involves the utilisation of word to word writings of a section or part of someone else's work without quotation marks and attribution of the source.

Plagiarising goes a long way to have an effect on both the person who plagiarised and the owner of the information hence it is important to avoid plagiarism.

One can then avoid plagiarism by acknowledging all assistance that has contributed to the production of ones work, adequately referencing any information derived from the internet and correctly citing and listing sources.

-Moreover, when paraphrasing, one should try to include more of his/her words and ideas.
-One should also take time to go through his/her work and look out for plagiarised words or phrases before submission.
-Also one should also pass his/her work through any plagiarism checker to look out for any form of plagiarism before submission of work.

Hi @jhayss, you did well with the source citation but I'm afraid 1/3rd of your work appears to be plagiarized.

The thing is, you are supposed to read the whole article and get the understanding before rewriting in your own words.

Please do that so that I can verify your post.
