Achievement 2: Basic security on steem by @jaja2

Hello everyone,
I am happy to have completed my achievement 1 immediately after joining. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. This post is my achievement 2, on the basic security on steem.

Question 1:
Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have gotten my steemit keys, which were sent to my Gmail during my registration processes. I was quick to star the message and also save it at secured places I can easily retrieve anytime I need them.

Question 2:
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

The key functions and restrictions are easy to read and comprehend, so I made sure to read through all the keys in my pdf file. They are;
i) Posting Key:
This key allows the user to comment and post on the platform. It makes it possible for the user to perform certain activities on steemit like editing posts, follow and/or mute accounts, vote and res teen.

ii)Activity Key:
This key provides for actions which include power up steems. It also allows users to transfer steems and many more actions.

iii) Owner Key:
This is the key that is used to recover my account in case it has been lost/locked. It is the key to reset all keys in such situations, hence, it is a very important key.

iv) Memo key:
The memo key makes it possible to be able to encrypt and/or decrypt memos when transferring funds.

Question 3:
How do you plan to keep your master password?

After receiving the pdf file containing my master password, I immediately saved it to a secure place and in my phone and gmail.

Question 4:
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem account?

Yes I know how to do so. The steps include;
i) Go to "wallet"
ii) Click on "steem"
iii) Click on transfer
iv) Input user name of recipient and
v) Enter the active key
..and Voila!

Question 5:
Do you know how to power up your steem?

Yes, I do. The steps include;
i) Go to wallet
ii) Click on steem
iii) Select power up
iv) Input the amount and key. Steem will be converted to steem power.

Alright guys, this is my achievement 2. Hope my answers to the questions are correct. I am already eager to start my achievement 3 as soon as possible.
