SAY NO TO PLAGIARISM
CITATION
Citation or referring to a source document in the text of an essay. A citation is the the way you tell your readers that certain materials in your work which came from another source. It gives your readers the information necessary to find that source again including - Information about the author
- The title of the work
- The date your copy was published.
Benefits of citation
When we give credit to the original author by citing sources is the only way to use other people's work without plagiarizing. Other benefits. However, citing sources strengthens your work by lending outside support to your ideas. Citing sources shows the amount of research you have done and remember also that citing doesn't make your work seem less original. It rather emphasize the originality of your own work.
Citation to me makes a work reliable. And the act of not citing other people's is a crime known as plagiarism. Remember the copyrigh. Published by @iykewatch 19th March, 2021.
In summary, be original and give credit to other people's work. Maintain social, corporate and steemit etiquette.
We're all work in progress. Happy reading
