Greetings to my exceptional and wonderful steemians around the world. I believe we are doing great this morning? Today, I will like to take a step further in completing my achievement tasks by talking about basic security on steem i.e achievement2 task. Before then, its necessary for me to appreciate @juichi and @ngoenyi for their support, votes, encouragement, and corrections on my Achievement1 task.

INTRODUCTION

As humans, security is very essential to us. Even in our homes, we tend to give much attention to the security of our properties so as to ensure their safety. Without security, our life's and properties will be in danger of thieves or intruders. But with security, we can have assurance over the safety of our life's and properties. Also here on steemit, they are basic keys which help to secure our accounts and also enable us to carry out some basic activities. Today I will discuss with you those keys on steem and their functions.

1. Posting key: in steemit, we post, vote, edit, resteem, mute or follow. All the above listed tasks can only be achieved with the help of the posting key, that's to say, without the posting key, the activities listed above can not be achieved.
2. Active key: some tasks are more sensitive than others, for example, anything that deals with transferring of funds, voting for witnesses, converting steem dollers and even updating profiles and also placing of market order are considered very sensitive tasks in steemit blockchain, and as such, to carry out any of the above listed activities, the active key must be used.

3. Owner key: the owner key is considered to be the most powerful key in steemit blockchain. With this owner key, the key of any account can be changed. And this key is used not often but only when necessary. advisably, the owner key should be saved or stored somewhere offline.

4. Memo key: this key key is basically used for encrypting and decrypting of memos.

Question 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I was able to retrieve all my steemit keys and I was able to save all my keys as well.

Questions2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Yes i know their functions and how I can make use of them.

Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?

From the guide, i learned that the master password should be saved offline, as such, i have saved my password on my computer, email, and also, i wrote it down on my jotter.

Question4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

I know how to transfer my steem token to another steem user account. check out the steps below.

step1: After loging into steemit blog, click on wallet as shown below

step2: then the below page will appear, then I click on the steem drop down menu.

step3: the below page appeared, and i click on transfer as show below.

step4 then the below page appeared. There you can fill in the amount you want transfer.

step5: after filling the amount menu, you click on NEXT to finish the transaction.

Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

I know how to power up my steem. Below are the steps which I can follow to Power up my steem.

Step1:: After loging in to my steemit blog, I will click on wallet as shown below

Step2: then the below page will appear, then I click on the steem drop down menu.

step3: the below page appeared, and i click on the power up as show below.

step4: then the below page appeared. There you can fill in the amount you want to power up.

step5: after filling the amount menu, you click on power to finish the transaction.

To round it up this section, each of the keys in steemit has its function as explained above. Looking at how activities are carried out here, we all know that steemit blockchain is an organised and well secured blockchain. I appreciate the privilege of being a member of this platform.
