Welcome to my achivement 2 post on the task basic security on steemit

1 Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit

Yes my keys was receive and retrieved the day i sign up on steemit
They are posting, active , memo, owner and master key

2 Do you know each of these key functions

The functions are

posting key

Is used for posting , comments , voting , resteeming , following and muting of accounts

active key

Is used for vital task like transferring fund, power up\down , converting steem dollars and voting for witnesses

owner key

It is the most powerful key because it can change any key of account including itself.

memo key

It is used for reading encrypted messages via steemit , it is also used to send encrypted messages.

3 How do you plan to keep my master key

My master key is kept in a very secure place . i have a hard copy of it and i also save it on my email .

4 Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user

This are the steps to follow

1.go to my wallet

2. Click on the drop down besides the steem token

3. Click on transfer

4. Insert the name of the user

5. Insert the amount

6. Insert the memo key

7 click on next to complete the transaction

Do you know how to power up steem

Yes they steps are below

1. Go to my wallet

2. Click the drop down box beside the steem token

3 click on power up

4. Insert the amount you wish to power up

5 click on power up
